school year finished today, ready for "summer"

Wow, my last post was in March and was about a butterfly.

I have another butterfly quote:

'Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.'

I can tell you why I have not written since March. That is because I do evaluations for home
school families here in PA and they are due June 30 to the school districts. Have had appts
for evaluations and WRAT testing since March and it is now the end of July! I have had appointments
in July for those people who did not call in time for an appt prior to June 30 and they had to ask for an extension.
My last two appointments for the 07-08 school year are this morning! It has been months since I looked at this blog.


So, now my summer starts! But, I am thinking it is 2/3 OVER already. I am not sure how to fix this when I want to help the families and there are only so many hours in a day as they say. I hope to start appointments earlier next year.

Anyway, not only evaluations and testing, but the rest of life is packed full too.
Our son graduated from college, got a job, bought a house and moved out! Our daughter was a student ambassador to Australia for 18 days and is getting back tonight. They are settled now so hoping to have a nice R&R at the beach the end of August and some R&R the end of September as well. I guess I still plan a "traditional summer" it is just pushed back on my calendar.

I need to write next about the Rally in Washington DC on July 12!
